OCW Spotlight: Take a walk on the DARKSIDE

Season 6 has it's first spotlight superstar. It is none other than argueably the most consistant superstar in the history of OCW. A mainstay in the OCW universe since May 2007 Smythe Dawonder is the most televised superstar in OCW history, also perhaps the most hated, and definitely the most egotistical.

His long list of accomplishments include 2 time OCW Most valuable wrestler, Longest reigning tag team champion and longest reigning North American champion, Former OCW champion, most victories 2009, and most successful factions in OCW history with the full invasion of the Darkside into OCW.

Since changing the landscape of OCW once again by taking Jookie Marley and K Dangelo under his wing. Smythe has become a pioneer in the future of OCW by taking some young superstars to the plateau of the company. We catch up with Smythe in this exclusive interview with the Darkside.

OCW: Smythe it's only fitting that we start season 6 here on OCW magazine with OCW's biggest story which is the framework of you and the Darkside.

Smythe: When you're me and you have it all it's nothing but a pleasure to be noticed for all your hard work and me and my team love sitting down with you guys and filling you in on the happenings around here.

OCW: I'm going to ask Jookie first what it's like to hang out with one of the biggest stars in the business on a regular basis.

Jookie: I'm not gonna lie, since I started rolling with Smythe. The hoes be chasing me down everywhere. we hit the club and they like "It's Jookie" and I'm like "Hells Yeah" and it's on. I love my big brother Smythe. I gots, money, power and respect up in here. nothing but the Up and Up!

OCW: K.D You are the enforcer of the group. Smythe calls you his right hand. How's that working out?

K.D: Yeah I'm that big right, I do what need to be done for the family. Smythe takes care of all the busness work, keeps our name on people tongues and that's important. We take care of business and the next goal isto bring some gold home for the squad. I got his back and I know he got mine. That's how the Darkside works.

OCW: Smythe when did you decide it was time for you to mentor young talent in OCW.

Smythe: I'm not their mentor, We family. I just have the most pull cause I put in the most work. but everytime i get in that ring I prove myself to them the same way they do me. Difference being I'm the greatest superstar to ever step into an OCW ring. So I do it week in and out.

OCW: Do you think in the future you can see yourself holding the OCW World Championship that's eluded you for so long?

Smythe: The World title is one thing. But there's alot of "problems" that need to be dealt with along the way to that. I'm here to solve my problems then maybe I'll save the World Championship from the grips of mediocrity. I have the advantage of being the face of OCW without being the World Champion. But sooner than later that title will be mine. then the Darkness will truely fall on OCW!

To be completely honest listening to Smythe rant has become one of the trademarks of OCW. He's been doing it since his days as the "S Jobber" but as we know time heals all wounds. This year Smythe comes into the fray at the top of the heap, possibly the most popular superstar in the company today. He has all the tools and the skills to be the king of the castle.
