  1. Rumors close to OCW front office have confirmed that Smythe D. Wonder is considering a return to OCW televised events. Which presents a major issue for OCW at many different levels. Smythe has been long remembered as one of OCW's most hatable characters. Also one of the company's biggest draws and the first superstar to headline Wrestlution twice in what were OCW's two highest rated shows in the history of the company. While it isn't confirmed what role he will return into it is certain that he will be returning to the ring at some point as he has been seen walking around in tip top wrestling shape. The back story is that ratings are slowing down since the wildly successful Wrestlution 8. The inclusion of Smythe into the roster will heat things up and definitely stir the pot with the fusion of new talent and pre "Golden era" veterans. Factor in his large stake in the company and a love/hate strange relationship with the Sensation family and we have a brewing pot for a fantastic year of wrestling. Or absolute chaos. More on this interesting situation as it develops!!!
  2. Since OCWFED has signed Smythe D. Wonder to OCW at the beginning of season 3 nowone has put more people in the seats than the self-proclaimed "Alpha-Heel". It's no secret that thousands of people pay week in and out to come and hate Canada's most spoon fed son. The offspring of an NBA player and an Olympic athlete, Smythe had the genes and the look of a superstar from day one in OCW. But what made him noticed as a rookie was his original wrestling style. Smythe had all the flash and flare of a show-stopper mixed with the toughness and stubborness of a brawler. Punches, kicks and brutal knee, heel and elbow based leverage moves mixed with a very respectable array of agile and flowing motion moves made Smythe a threat to steal the show week in and out. The E-universe always knows they've come to see a show whenever his theme hits till this day. They secretly cheer him on night in and out. On the microphone he's a totally different beast. He's perhaps the most hated superstar in OCW history just based on his promos. He's brash, arrogant, oblivious and noticably clever. Such a dangerous mix in sold out arenas. He easily has the crowd breaking out into chants and boos with one word sentences, a feat that is envied around the E-universe. Smythe's return means a few things. 1. Business is about to pick up - Smythe hasn't missed a Wrestlution since he's gotten a chance to be in one and he's main evented two of them. The sky isn't even the limit for him anymore. 2. He will be in the title picture - Despite what people say about Smythe not winning the big one. The company does have a soft spot for him and with his uncanny drawing ability he will end up in the title hunt sooner than later. 3. Alot of old flames can strike up - Smythe has worked a massive amount of angles with almost everyone in the business. Between superstars wanting to work with him and the company placing him in roles to help the ratings Smythe has pretty much worked with everyone in the business. Anything can happen!!! So this Thursday we welcome back one of OCW's most celebrated, talented, hated and hard working superstars to the ring yet again. He will add to his accomplishments and records without a doubt. The rookies will learn from his efforts, superstars will be created, storylines will be formed and people will be SDW'd. Take some time this week and watch what happens when a superstar gets it right. Or at least that's what he'll tell you when you ask him about it after the fact.
  3. OCW Magazine caught upto Smythe Dawonder fresh off the heels of his switching from number 1 contender for the OCW Championship to becoming potential 51% shareholder in OCW. The obvious is the fact that due to certain possibility that we may have a new boss in the next few weeks nothing is being said in this article that would piss Smythe off. We love our jobs here at OCW magazine. But we will say that Smythe is overjoyed at his new Wrestlution match. And everyone from former superstars to staff and even personal family members have added memorable quotables after last nights Show. Sasha, Smythe's wife, says "this has clearly gone too far, Tho I love my husband and I think he's the smartest man alive, Smythe will run this company into the ground with his incredible ego and lack of mutual respect for anyone on the planet. Other than me of course". Tiffany Ortiz-Sensation, Mr. Sensation's daughter, adds "This has been on the decline for a few years now. It's a fallout of epic proportions and I feel that everyone involved will suffer greatly. It's too late to stop them now. Let's just hope when the dust is settled they find a new respect for each other." Nick Kage, OCW Hall of Famer, says "Now this is worth watching. I'm tuning in, hell, I might even get on a plane and come out to see this. Sensation returns to the ring I like it." The stakes couldn't be higher. and the fans couldn't be more excited. Smythe Dawonder has all but declared victory already. He says he has a list of things to do once he takes over OCW. He plans to reveal them prior to the official contract signing on next weeks Riot. Tune in next week for the calm before the storm!

  11. Ocw staff have revealed a plan to push teeneage wrestling sensation Judas Hallows into the spotlight following the injury to partner Craig Casey. Hallows is widely considered as a developing talent in OCW with impressive in ring performances under his belt. The company plans to toss Hallows into the TV title tournament happening later this month and upping Hallows' Television time to mid-carder status. There is also a planned angle for this new direction but it has been made clear that Hallows and Casey will remain a duo. The company feels that together they draw heat rarely seen in wrestling with their over the top heel tactics.
  12. a little too CM Punk for my liking ;)
  13. Leonheart and Smythe Dawonder are without a doubt two of OCW's most celebrated stars. With upbringing from some of OCW's best talent they have both transformed living the business to another level. Their reunion is a massive deal for OCW and everyone in it. But can OCW withstand the potential wave of violence and carnage that may ensue from Smythe and Leon Volume two. Leonheart is perhaps OCW's greatest success story turned terribly wrong. The Anikin Skywalker of OCW if you will. Holder of every singles title in OCW history Leon is the staple of success in the business. Smythe Dawonder is easily the most famous man to ever step into an OCW ring. From his rap career to lavish parties, exceptional microphone skills and undeniable charisma. Smythe has been the favourite man to hate in OCW for a long time. But at Devil's Night 2007, both men went from upstart bluechippers to people to watch. Leonheart faced North American Champion DJ Chino when Smythe slid into the ring and delivered the sledgehammer heard around OCW. Leon became champion and DJ Chino had his ribcage shattered, an injury he would never fully recover from, and the duo of Leonheart and Smythe was born. With the world watching what the two do no good'ers could pull off. Smythe and Leon unleashed relentless, ruthless and at times thoughtless attacks on those who stood in their way and sometimes those who didn't. A vicious caged attack on Sean Strider sidelined him with what became a career ending injury. Then when two weeks later Ed Reed suffered the same fate Mr. Sensation himself became aware that Leonheart and Smythe Dawonder had become a problem. Sensations plan was simple and effective. Smythe Dawonder had his contract restructured and received a pay raise on par with OCW main eventers. Leonheart's contract remained the same. The sadistic Parker Stevens alligned with Smythe and Leon and the power started to shift from Leon giving orders to Smythe calling the shots. Leon wasn't happy about this and in Janurary Smythe and Parker Stevens turned on Leon ending one of the most dangerous Allignments in OCW and incedently birthing the rise of two of the biggest stars OCW has ever seen. Leonheart continued his winning ways at Wreslution 3. Winning the Future Investment match and beating his former friend turned rival. Defended the FI clause in an ironman match against Smythe the next month and would go on to become the OCW world champion at Summercide. Leon would spend the next year dominating the World title en route to winning the Wrestler of the Year Award. Smythe went on to become the bright young star in Mr. Sensation's hand picked Sensational World Order learning from the biggest heels in the business, Blake Majin, Nick Kage, RD Money and Sensation himself. Smythe would go on to Capture the OCW World title through treachery at Damnation later that year and capped one of the most successful in ring years in OCW history with a 6 month tag title reign with a faction he would create with another legend (Versus) en route to being named the most valuable wrestler in the company. A Clash in the Main Event of Wreslution 4 (OCW's highest rated show to date) cemented Smythe and Leon's status as company made superstars. But at the top it seems their thirst for power and fame has joined them back together. With the Monster Mayhem at their side and the reluctant genius that is the Air among them the question becomes. Waht can you offer those who have it all? Who will get hurt this time around? And can anybody stop one of the most dangerous combinations OCW has ever seen? Leonheart and Smythe Dawonder are remembered as a great team, but they have never tagged together in a match. It's simple facts like this that makes OCW shiver!
