  1. These are fun to listen to. Its cool he can remember it so detailed. My memory is to fucked up lol
  2. Ive played a couple of matches online and kicking out seems very easy. Even after 7 finishers. Also i think that if a move isnt a specific Finisher like F5 and you take a move like Fisherman DDT, wich isnt a finisher, it is easyer to kick out from it. When i hit the Fisherman DDT even the computer pretty consistantly kicks out of it.
  3. Djesus vs K.Dangelo Djesus Ok,the music creeps me the fk out, lemme start with that lol. Combined with the clothes really gives off the vibes of some kinda cult leader, or a referin, dont know if i spelled that correctly. Appearance Rating : 6.7 K.Dangelo Think the actually music prob should start as K.D comes in, but i know thats now allot more hassle then before, so thats just nit picking here. I have to say, K.D definetly looks impressive this year. Like a walking tank of pure strenght and muscle. Appearance Rating : 7.8 Tha match Seems this match has some prior story to it, due to the way it started. Unfortunatly, i'm not up to date on those. Pretty good back and forth match. The goldberg spear on K.D,...not really a fan of that one, no matter who uses it, its always animated way over the top. That was it basicly. Little Side Story WWE 2k15's creation suite in terms of depth and variaty how much you can customize is not nearly as close as the "basicly untouched for 6 years" Create A Wrestler version of previous. However, altough the maximum quality ceiling of CAWs is definetly lower, due to limited hairstyles and attire and not being able to adjust height and depth,i feel like at the same time, the minimum quality of CAWs is WAAY higher. I'm just thrilled in general that the o so patented default face is gone. And i think in general for OCW its better to have an entire Roster of interesting looking fellow's, instead of just a handfull. Continueing later today...>>
  4. Vega Review continue'd Pugh vs Tiberius Dupree Pugh Pugh...looks like Pugh..The weird combination of a close to defaultness yet a certain smuckness, with a 1001 variations on his attires. Appearance rating : 7.7 Tiberius Dupree The man..with the most catchy mtfking theme songs in all of OCW...probably top 3.. i hate you..for putting it in my head again, thank you. The fire themed attire looked very well and just the overall look of the CAW just has that "champion" esq aura. Appearance rating : 9.0 The match...i'll probably update this review if someone is capable of fixing it. The skipping and sound warping throws me off lol. Eli vs B. Minio Disclaimer: altough i did hop on and off the boards during last season and before that, i did not pick up most of the story or new peeps who came in..so both Eli and Minio are rather new to me. Eli A big guy. Freaky looking mask rofl. Gives off a monsterish type charachter. To bad u cant wear the coat in the ring ( i think, not sure). Im expecting a rather standerd "big guy" Nash like moveset. Appearance rating : 7.5 >> 6.5 Addition : After seeing Eli's inring attire i kinda got confused. After the rather dark and powerfull entrance, the rather plain Jeans and shirt attire..actually causes the mask to look out of place...like it's suppose to discarded along with the rest of the entrance attire but he forgot. I'm trying not to judge like...if you have a mask you need to have a Undertaker/Kane ish attire, but i dunno it just doesn't really make sense to me to have a scary looking mask and then the rest of the attire tell the exact opposite story. Bobby Minio Like the music. Think the entrance shirt could be a little less black, same with the hair. I think the tights look alright, but i feel the kickpads are a out of place. From the back, the red stripe design flows better into the red kickboots then the front ..it looks a bit akward,like..there is to much red lol. Could maybe find something to place on the kickpad, could help. The rest of the caw is good. Appearance rating : 7.2 I think anyone in OCW who decides to make a big guy ( besides Mayhem) knows what kinda moves he can give them, usually not much room for variation rofl. So Eli's good on that front. With smaller, normal sizes charachters there is so much more option and so much harder to make a choice. I think i need to see more matches from Minio to get a good sense and what looks good and doesnt ( not that anyone should feel any obligation to change anything , i'm just speaking my mind as a viewer :p), especially since Eli is such a huge guy. Only thing i didnt like was that capoera like spin kick that u did a few times. But thats just personal thing, i dont think that kicks looks good on anyone, i think Dupree had a version of a spin kick aswell, they're just not that well animated tbh. I think ill drop the match rating thing since everbody is still getting used to things.
  5. Vega Review! My review will focus mainly on my first impression on Caw appearance, movesets and matches. Everything i write is just things i notice and are measured by my very akward set of preference when it comes to wrestling. Hence forth lets begin. C.Bridges vs D.Y Nasty C.Bridges I already saw how Bridges looked like in the entrance section. So i dont really have to go over that again. He looks like a bad ass mtfker who you wouldnt want to meet outside. Appearance Rating: 8 D.Y Nasty I dig the shirt, and the tights look good. But both of them together kinda mash less well. Black and with shirt, with black and yellow tights. Also the eye make up strikes me as a little odd on your caw. Feels a bit out of place. Unlike Bridges, i can't immidiatly tell what to expect from D.Y Nasty. Is he striker, technician, powerhouse? He has a pretty bulky athletic type build so im guessing technician with some power/strikish type of moves. Appearance Rating: 6.2 Not being able to tell what kinda style of wrestler someone is from just looking ,isnt a bad thing and by no means a benchmark or a neccesity for a wresler/caw to be appealing..but having an appearance that does , will help tremendously. Little sidenote> I noticed that the kneepads, eye make up,hair are all paint black as in shade 0 black or close to it. It's all personal preference ofcourse but i would put the shade a little higher. Putting it on shade 0 black makes the hair and the tights look less real, because it is just so black that you cant see the fabric and the detail of the hair. Dont ask me why i notice or care about these things...its an illness i swear. Tha match It was a match i expect to see trough most of the card. People still trying to see how things go and stuff. Both got to display there moveset a bit. Bridges displayed pretty much what i was expecting. Basic wrestling, with strikes and he didnt get much chance to show us more, looking forward to it. D.Y Nasty..basicly showed what i kinda feared. A moveset that is kinda all over the place. Again this is just an opinion from a viewer perspective. Like Parker ..nicely suggested, it seems Nasty is a little to bulky therefore lacking the agility for the kicks or the tiger suplex or the leapfrog animation. If the kicks are gonna be your mainstay for your moveset, definetly tone down the upperbody and try to keep your moves around a certain theme. So for example if you go for kicks and tiger suplex/bomb try to avoid powerlike moves, like the powerbomb throw. Definetly looking forward to see how D.Y Nasty will evolve during his stay in OCW. Match Rating: 6.0 Due to the nature of the 2nd match...ill wait with the rest till page 2. Ill continue tommorow, i take 3 hours to write about one match.
  6. Digging the one page format.
  7. The only real invasion that ever took place in OCW that went nicely( could have been done better if we had the experience) was the EWA one. OCW was still split back then, cause of it was on the ps2. EU side and US side. And in term of charachter strenght the EU was pretty much the NXT show. The US side was way richer in unique caws and better writers. EWA was a pure competitive site though and skillwise we basicly obliterated the small EU roster OCW had the time. Yohanson, Jackhammer,Outcast , cant remember many others. I actually still remember, that Jay posted something on the EWA site to try out OCW. Good stuff. And got a quite a few good guys from it aswell. Chris Mania , Leonheart, Karim, Loki and Bloodstained ( didnt stay to long but they were alright ) . Not sure if Pugh and Parker came from EWA. Sidenote though...in SvR 06...us EWA guys played cheapass hell when we entered here rofl . Run dodge, run >to back, pick up grapples rofl!
  8. I might. I'll let you guys test it for me, ill be on PS4 though :p . You're making jokes Pugh, but trough be told, the compleet unresonsiveness of those high flying moves was the final straw that made me quit. I already stopped Tyro before..because..i was playing a Brawler..that do to the 99% reversal rate of WWE 13 ...was actually barely brawling, wich pissed me off. So i tought i'd stick with my highflyer , wich ended up exactly the same. A highflyer where i cant hit my moves with. Im fine with losing as long as i can portray my charachter. But WWE 13 shifted the ratio's of moves getting hit vs moves reversed that i couldn't even do that. Ugh ill stop here, before i type another page..
  9. Nope. I'd love to but its not really an OCW issue for me. My frustrations are pure with the game itself and i can't tolerate it. The second a new version of 2k comes out that i can tolerate is the second ill be back here.
  10. Im wondering why people are going into this discussion with Smythe. His "taste" for a lack of a better terms, on wrestling , what he thinks is right and prefers and what should be done, has never overlaped with anyone since he entered this place. However, this time around i dont think people are as receptive to it as the last time he dropped in.
  11. Didn't even rant, still killed the thread...DAMMIT!
  12. If i'd make a wrestling game , it would get finished :p. Cause i know atleast what type of wrestling game i would want to make and not waiste time on things that are irrelevant to that type of wrestling. And i understand where "what wrestlers do" and "what players do " conflict so as NOT to create the shittiest abnoxius online community in gaming history. I'll leave at that...before i type an entire page and kill the thread -_-
  13. I think the problem with the EX belt it has been passed to so many people who in a enviroment where it would be a belt that people really desire, never would have gotten it. And altough it always had allot of optional opponents, most of them were all blank charachters with no personality or charisma. It has kinda been the belt for the guys nobody really wanted near the other belts. Hazard, Djack etc. Also incase of the current EX storyline with me and Suda, it also doesnt help when we head into another 5 a 6 week of Riot before a PPV pops up,spreading the story a little thin. Granted ill admit ive been slacking a bit. But I think the big problem overall problem, not just with Ambition but OCW's problem in general is that we have no viewers. We, the contenders, we , the guys making the promo's , are basicly performing amongst ourself and fellow contenders. Shouldnt come to a big suprise that one of the only time we spark a big discussion is when something goes wrong or someone gets upset. Movie stars or stars from big series, i hear them say it so many times..that never watch they're own shows or hit movies. You make content for other people to watch. Dping and creating content for your own fun will only get you so far. Taking on the role of creating the story, working it out, scheduling the match, playing the match and turning it in and then to also take on the role of watching it, creating interesting and dynamic discussion, wich will include saying things you dont like , wich in return will be confliction because you might have to face that guy later down the line is simply an amount of effort you can only keep going for so long. We need viewers. People who just watch our shit and comment , so we , the players can focus on making the show interesting instead of despretly waiting for some forced discussion.
  14. Knowing when to fold is a problematic side effect of WWE 13. Regardless i think the match between Wesley and McGee was very intense and told a great story from Cody's distraction ( wich McGee would have kicked out of anyway) to the finisher reversal...untill it reached that point where the story had litterly ended. The match had finishers reversal it had mid air finishers, Cody presence was awesome and really added to the match, what was their left to do after the 3rd finisher from either of ya ? >>McGee is tough, but isn't main event << I don't know where that comment comes from or even why u said it cause McGee dominated that entire match. Not only that McGee directed that match, he hit a great variaty of moves that made him look real good but Wesley aswell. McGee's move hit difference was atleast 2:1,maybe even 3. BUT BUT BUT as the cruiserweight you merited staying in the game by reversing the finishers, wich was awesome. The match didnt lack energy even after both of ya kicked out of two finishers But Wesley never made a comeback. And that's the problem. And thats why Wesley should have folded after the catch finisher or atleast the finisher after.Wesley might have won the match but he looks crap in the end of it. He survived, just like how The Rock beat CM punk. If the match would have ended after the Top rope finisher ? You both have looked great. Even after McGee's 3rd finisher both would still have looked great. You gave a kayfabe reason why Wesley can kick out of multible finishers. >Wesley is a former champion of 3 different titles here in OCW if he wants to kick out 3 times he can because Wesley is resilient. Anyone who knows Wesley from the past knows this from any of his matches.< I'll give ya a kayfabe reason why he shouldn't. McGee is a heavyweight and Wesley is cruiser. That is reason enough. Disregarding the fact that he dropped ya on your head a couple of times. Also, the entire "amount of time spend in ocw + titel won = "the ability to never be wrong " thing in general has got to go. It feels like some kinda OCW shop item that people throw into discussions for some reason. Knock it off.
