  1. Many good times and good memories from this place. Well said Jay, best of luck to everyone for the next season hopefully the game don't suck.
  2. This is good stuff, props on the editing!
  3. Congrats OCW for another year of Lution. Hard work paid off Jay, looks awesome. Added Note: Got my theme song in the World Title match...BOOYAH!
  4. Cross can be seen standing in the middle of a parking lot. He's motionless staring at the large prison off in the distance. A sign off to the side says "Department of Corrections California State Prison San Quentin." Cross slowly makes his way forward to the barbwire topped gate. As he gets closer a security guard approaches him. Security: Excuse me sir, can I help you with something? Cross: Yeah, I'm here for a visitation appointment. Security: What's the last name? Cross: Cross. Security: Alright I'm just going to need you sign this form and then you can follow me. Cross begins to sign the paper as the large gate begins to unlock and open. Several other guards yielding guns approach Cross then signal him to follow. They walk down a long fenced off road and into a visitation building. Inside there's a man seated behind a glassed-in desk. Security: We have a visitation appointment for Mr. Cross. The man behind the glass begins to look through a clipboard of papers. Employee: Alright, I see your name on the list. If you wait just a second you can enter through the door on your left once you hear the buzzer sound. The man behind the counter presses a button and a quick buzzer sound goes off and the lobby door can be heard unlocking. One of the security guards steps forward and opens the door. Security: Follow me right this way. They walk down a hallway of small visitation windows. They reach the end and a security guard points for Cross to sit down in the booth. There is a thick clear wall in front of him with a telephone hung up on both sides. Security: They'll be here in a moment. After several minutes a unit of guards enters on the other side of the glass, behind them entering the booth is Eddie Mace and A-Jax. Security: You got about twenty minutes, so make it quick. Security leave the three men to talk. Cross picks up the phone, as does Mace and AJax. Mace: Cross man, where have you been? Cross: I've been back in OCW. You remember that place? Mace: Are you serious? What the hell were you doing there? We are stuck in here behind bars for no damn reason and you returned to OCW when we needed you most? What the hell is your problem, I thought we had each others back? Cross: Calm down Mace, let me explain. After news got out that you guys had been arrested, I had to clear your name. OCW released an article on their website pretty much calling you guys terrorist. AJax: That's bull shit man, we haven't done anything! Cross: I know, I know. Believe me, I've tried to help you guys out, but they don't want to hear a word from an ex-con. Let me tell you what has happened. So I arrive to OCW about a month ago, it was the Certified Greatness PPV they were putting on. I come out to the ring to clear your names. I know you guys wouldn't be this stupid to try and blow places up. Mace: So that's it? You returned to clear our name a month ago? Where have you been since then? Cross: Listen. So I'm leaving the show, I had decided to retire and step away, and do what I could to help you guys out. So I'm walking towards my car and BOOM! it explodes into a god damn fire ball right in front of me! If I were a couple seconds earlier and I would be dead. AJax: No way! How the hell could we have done that when we were locked behind bars?! Cross: Exactly. Mace: Someone is targeting Death Row. Somebody is framing us. Who the hell would do this? Cross: I've been asking the same questions. I have no idea. I spent the last month in OCW seeing if anything else would happen. AJax: And...? Cross: Nothing. I had a bit of a distraction I had to deal with but nothing else has happened since Certified Greatness. I'm gone, you guys are in prison. Whoever is behind this got what they wanted. Mace: Think Cross, who in OCW would set us up? Is there anyone that you've had history with that would want us gone? Cross: If I knew, I would have done something about it. I have no clue. There's a brief moment of silence. Mace: Cross you got to get the surveillance video of the parking lot from that night! Who ever framed us and planted that car bomb has got to be on those tapes! Cross: Right now Sensation has denied me a contract, long story. To make it short, if I show up, I'll be arrested and thrown right back in with you guys. Mace: Get a lawyer! And get those video tapes! A security guard approaches Mace and AJax. Security: Alright visitation is over, lets move it. Mace: Cross listen! You have to get a lawyer and get the surveillance footage! Help get us out of here! The security guard rips the phone from Mace and hangs it up. Several more armed men enter and escort Mace and AJax out of the room. Cross slowly stands up and exits down the long hallway. He enters the lobby room. As he's leaving the man behind the counter shouts something. Employee: Enjoy your freedom! Cross stops and stares down the man seated behind the desk. The man begins to chuckle. Employee: Weather is a lot nicer out that exit door than behind those fences. Prison is a hell hole. The man begins laughing. Cross continues to stare the man down. He slowly approaches the glass. Cross lowers his head and begins to speak into the window intercom. Cross: I know. Cross turns around and exits out the door.
  5. ************************************************** CROSS EXAMINATION TRIALS AND STIPULATIONS AWARDS ********************************************** So there was a lot of good stuff from this PPV. I'll do a quick run down of some of my pros and cons. First off the cons: SHOW DISCUSSION!!! Unless you've been working on a review...no reason not to drop your favorite PPV moment rather than "good show, now I move along." WEAK. People work hard at this stuff, why not drop a few remarks? PPV related cons: Not a fan of returning and getting and immediate title shot, but I guess with a roster which has few challengers...I dunno. People returning need to remind us who they are by the entrance name plate! Not a fan of lack advertised matches...this is a PPV not another episode of Riot. Which leads to the pros: storyline development. The rivalries that lacked matches, delivered with well edited videos...but I feel some of the storylines have been going on long enough WE NEED THE MATCH! Work effort and content is solid right now. Future is looking good heading into Road 2 Glory and Wrestlution VI. Now a lot went down at the PPV, if I had more time I'd make a longer list but I am up to my head in outside work for the week. So, with that said I can only pick my Top 5 moments, which will be tough. Here we go. TOP 5 PPV MOMENTS Number Five: "Darkside Trouble" You had to figured that KD wasn't just going to lay down for Smythe. The two came to fight despite being a unit. Jookie is at ringside but who is he supporting? He somehow finds himself in the ring, with a chair, and Smythe being whipped right at him and *WHAM* Jook drops Smythe! KD goes for the finish and Smythe loses and is still suspended...or is he...? Sensation has a change of heart and re-instates Smythe to full active duty...as a demoted wrestler for Ambition! I saw the Green S-Bomber name roaming the forums also. Touche. But does this signal the end of all black everything? Number Four: "Kick ass, Drink beer, KO Hazard" I marked for Double A's return. The look was spot on to the old CAW, and the segment was priceless. Hazard just wanted in on the show, but he asked for more than he could chew. Double A, beer in hand, comes down to the ring and proceeds to destroy Hazard. Hazard frolicking into the cane was priceless. Perfect bit for a return. Number Three: "Helping the Hobo" Guy Fausto gets the help of a new found ally. Maybe just a favor? Or maybe Parker and Guy have something up their sleeves. Together they attempt to end young Greatness's career. Some sweet spots from Parker. Elbow drop from the ladder was the shot of the night. I'm digging the two together, throw in some Paine, got a nice little crew. We'll see what comes of this. Number Two: "The Future of Ambition...The Ambition " Ambition started out as a rookie experiment. Vic Vimes cuts a great promo about the future and his plans. He has a vision of a top level show of home grown talent not only that are out to prove themselves but now to make history and become a champion. Vimes announces an 8-man tournament, which sounds very entertaining, and two highest point earners will be booked on the biggest show of them all Wrestlution VI. There's something to fight for now on Ambition. The competitors will be: Pato, Matsuda, Tiberius, Lucas, Agumu, Royce, Alexander, and Ernsmore. No S-Bomber? LOLZ. Should make for a great couple of weeks on Ambition. Good luck rooks. Number One: "All for the ENTERTAINMENT...and Valmont is NOT rapist." Question: ARE YOU NOT ENTERTAINED?! Ok, so Aries clears the air and says Valmont is not a rapist...so that makes what we saw on RIOT just live consensual sex? For our entertainment? OK. you guys really just tossed the months worth of Valmont and Aries feud under the wagon by saying "it was all planned, ha ha ha, we were just trying to entertain, but you all complain...So F you." It was a cheap cover, wasted build up. But things did need to go a different direction. Now but you ask why did I put this number one...? I admit I was entertained. I mean, maybe not entertained in the proper way, but in the can't look away how do they fix this whats next kind of way. The final video was well edited, the final image of the new faction together with all the titles was pretty impressive. But Super teams (if I can really call them that) only last so long. I'm feeling conflict is on the horizon and the train will be derailed. I like the idea of Aries and Mayhem going at it...but that's two PPVs in a row that has been the main event and we really didn't get any further progression from the feud other than a continuation. I'd like to see someone else get in on the mix for the title, make things fresh. The feud has been going long enough and really didn't have much build going into this PPV. It was all about Aries and Valmont. I'm curious to see what comes of it, but unless something crazy happens it's going to be tough to build up my anticipation again over the next couple weeks for another PPV match of the same. Final comment on the final segment. Already with Trips and Crowe not having a match it was rough not having a main event. I mean its a PPV. People tune in the see THE MAIN EVENT. I wanted the Hell in a Cell. Granted I think I heard there was schedule problems, I know Mayhem is a busy dude. Just thought the PPV should have had an actual match go down for the M.E and a result rather than a continuation. After a match ok, but in place of a match I was not a fan of. RPs of the Night: Vic Vimes RP was a big announcement. I was already interested with Ambition, this takes it up a notch. Go read it for details. Honorable Mention: Wanted to see a match, but Trevor and Crowe went at it. Highlight, Trevor ripping out one of Crowe's fangs! The rookies bring it. Great hardcore match, good spots, all hell broke lose. Matsuda gets the win with a little help from his manager. "Baxter: Well blow me down D-Jac:k What ... no Baxter: Damn former rapist .. always sex on the mind .. can take a sailors phrase and turn it into something sexual." Three sheets to the wind, me Hearties! ...Surprised D-Jack declined...the former freak (still kinda one?) has come a long way! Hostile pulls off the upset. Parker was a heavy favorite but falls short. Run with the title! So that's it for now. Everyone put in solid effort, interested to see what more we can get out of some these feuds that did not conclude tonight. Next stop to Wrestlution...ROAD 2 GLORY. PEACE.
  6. "That Guy in my sig" would be Cross from 2009...and yes, unfortunately I see the similarities. Luckly we all know its Valmont.
  7. BREAKING NEWS: "There's a RAPIST in Lincoln Park..." and it's Vincent Valmont. Couldn't help myself.
  8. Wait what? You make no sense. All I got to say is this... http://img40.picoodle.com/i51p/gmriot/kc9q_b7e_uc7v2.jpg Rapist.
  9. ************************************************** CROSS EXAMINATION RIOT AWARDS ********************************************** Solid work people, Dane and Sensation were everywhere , nice work and good stuff. TOP 5 MOMENTS Number Five: "Justice is Served." Sensation opens the show expressing his disappointment in last weeks show finale. He cuts right to the chase Hennig...Fired! But what is great is the announcement that Valmont is now a registered sex offender...LOLz! Two weeks ago we get an appearance from Valmont sporting a clean shaved head. Then he rapes a chick on Riot sporting blond flowing hair. This weeks mugshot, dirty. It's the "Three faces of Valmont", minus any kind of mask, just three different faces. Number Four: "Ho, Ho, and Dane" I was waiting for someone to put in the time and effort to commentate a match. Well done Dane. Enjoyed it cuz I was able to read it all, well formatted, good edits back and forth between match and announce table. Overall creative work. Props. Number Three: "Hall of Fame gets a dose of Madness" Mad Mike is back and inducts himself into the OCW Hall of Fame...but is anyone arguing? Is this why MMM made his return, to induct himself? He did mention last week he has the power to make an OCW Title match...What's next, if anything from the Mad one? To quote the now Hall of Famer "Even I can't predict...or control what I'll do next." ...We'll just have to wait and find out. Number Two: "Mayhem pays a visit" It's one of those dark and evil RPs. Mayhem pays a visit to the unconscious Aries in the hospital. The silence before the storm, the monster standing strong over his prey. It's a great Main Event match up and I know Mayhem has had some legendary Hell in a Cell matches. I'm sure this one will not disappoint. A perfect RP to tie in last weeks events and promote the fight. Looking forward to it. Number One: "Sensation Spoils the Celebration" Man Jay is all over the place on this show. His power is really getting to his head lately, but its fitting for the upcoming PPV. Sensation is laying down the law, and serving to make each match at Trials and Stipulations interesting. I was surprised to see Trance win the Title so close to the PPV...plus I was looking forward to Dane and Le'Tuce. But Sensation sets things straight by re-crowning Dane Champion (Booooooooo!). But we get a new match at the PPV and Le'Tuce is furious backstage...not sure why there's a change in opponents. Either way Trance vs Dane rematch will be good, especially with Trance getting the one ups this week. We'll see if Le'Tuce has any involvement at the PPV. RPs of the Night: Mayhem and Aries/Darkside and Sensation Smythe has a dream...lol. But before he can finish preaching Sensation steps in. Smythe gets fined...$60,000. AND must now face fellow partner KD at the PPV. It's a fitting match with what went down during the KOOCW Tournament. Smythe wins and his suspension and fines are up. Quality RP. Honorable Mention: Trip down memory lane with Richard Blood. Great way to remind the people of his OCW past and success. Recap video video was well done. Blood makes his return in three weeks. The ending was well done, got a lot of the PPV match ups together in the ring. All hell broke loose. I might not have gone wild on the final cuts and just cut off air with people going at it. Powerbomb off the stage CHECK, got to keep track of story design stuff used so stuff isnt rehashed. Parker's entrance had me confused at first, thought the music got switched or something ha. I dig the new look. Interesting RP with Dane and needing money...I side with any business with Dane Xavier is bad business! Overall, solid show before the PPV. It's been a great past couple weeks for OCW. Great build. Looking forward to the outcomes.
  10. Damn right, it's all about the blue...but you should be playing with Blastoise not Charazard!
  11. I'm guessing when you say "everyone" that you are including yourself right? Because everything else you said after that and before, to me, sounds like the point of view of someone who thinks they run this place. Oh wait... ;) Side note: Also just on the discussion of the show, and the future of this storyline, which I have enjoyed up until this week...I really hope this feud doesn't end with Valmont vs Aries for the title without Valmont not even having a match. That imo would be weak. So I vote Valmont vs Gaines! You comeback from a long time off, which you bashed people for, and continue the old OCW isn't what it used to be OCW is "doomed" old nonsense. Really...come on...even Smythe has stopped with that crap. I've already given my show discussion, so I had the right to add a few comments to Valmont's pointless self defense rant. Now be cool.
