  1. Behind The Scene's Rumors!! by Jim Black Thursday February 23, 2012 Jim Black: OCW camera's caught up behind Skip Kerplowski over heard a conversation between him and at first an unknown rookie who would later be mentioned in the conversation. The camera fades to the video of the phone call. Skip is seen standing beside Will Pepperton. The two conversing aggressively and arguing about who is a better wrestler. Skip immediately begins ignoring a retaliation from Will and just pulls out his cell phone. He flips it open and pokes at the numbers until he hits send. While he waits for his call to go through and be answered Will walks past him and nudges his shoulder. Skip: Hey how are you today you ready to go?! … Skip: Thats what I like to hear kid. You've been on quite a roll lately. … Skip: Well, each week I've specifically set you up with a challenge of a different nature. This week will be no different. Tonight, you go one on one with Bedlam. Skip: There should be no reason you don't come out on top tonight. If you want to make it here in OCW you will have your hand raised at the end of the match. … Skip: That you don't need to worry about. Go out there and wrestle your game and to make matters a little bit more difficult for you, no Kerplowski Klutch tonight. You must beat your opponent with that other weird thing you know how to do. Skip: Look this is a test specifically designed for a reason! Do as I say and you will understand later. I may be old but I'm still better than Pepperton so you better be thankful I'm on your side. That old man leaves ashes on the mat every time I throw him down. Skip: Well kid I'm gonna go, and remember you cannot win by the klutch tonight. …. Skip: Bye. Skip hangs up the phone and walks off as the camera fades.
  2. So, last week I competed in my first official match ever? How on earth did I even win? I've never even competed against someone in a serious environment. Not only that but I was completely unprepared. Skip why did you pick me for that match? Why waste your time choosing me? How'd he even know I wouldn't get demolished? I dont know what it was, but when that bell rang, everything sorta just went out the window. There was no crowd, no referee, no bright lights. Just me and my opponent. As I slammed him to the mat more and more I felt stronger, smarter. Without even thinking on purpose I developed a game plan. I didn't even know it would work, but some how it did.. I won my match. To think that people spend years of competing against others in serious competition before they're even given a spotlight or a chance at recognition in OCW. I went out there and won my first serious match-up ever.. Colin even called me and wouldnt shut up for about half an hour while I was riding on the bus. I was afraid to wake up the guy next to me. I dont know what it was, but when I picked up that guy and heard the cracking in his back, power surged through me. As I threw him to the mat like paper weight after the bell rang. I felt powerful.. I felt strong.
  3. I've spent years just messing around the mats as a small hobby. Mostly as something just to fill my time. I'm not even quite sure why I've even lasted this long. Its never been something serious to me or hardly even fun. Countless guys have moved on from my wrestling gym to turn amateur and some even pro. I've been here every morning for the last 5 years of my life. So much as so they even just hired me to be a trainer here. I've been honing my skills here since I was 16 for no reason at all. To even the extent that I lost most of my friends but one. He's so big on wrestling and he doesn't even know I'm a trainer at a gym. I don't even know why I am one. I've never been one to talk out or input on much really. I've always been the quiet guy. I guess I've just learned to ignore everything around me through high school and middle school. I always figured that one day everyone sorta just gets put in to place. Whether its by taking an opportunity or just getting shoved into one by fate. Even though everyone is the master of their own fate. Anything could change for me in the blink of an eye. The thing is, I'm actually content with how things are right now. Even though I don't really have anything super great to look forward to I still am fine with how everything is. I can't explain it even to myself how I feel. The other day I was able to slam a guy down who had 50 pounds on me. He said something about my friend Colin and something just lit off inside of me. After I threw him down and walked away amidst the silence I kinda felt good. I don't know why I felt that way. Colin was amazed at it too. He wouldn't shut up about it. The way everyone in that bar was looking at me. It made me feel powerful; I liked it.
  4. I will restate.. If anyone wants a match, hit me up!
