  1. April 13th, 2024 -- LATE last night, WLMZ was alerted to a gathering at the Entwine Cocktail Bar on Washington Street in New York City. Apparently, some kind of major gathering took place on the night which included no fewer than 11 OCWFed contracted pro wrestlers. As we are just days away from a monumental season debut on television for OCW Turmoil, the company's 312th edition of the weekly/biweekly program since taking over the CCW brand many years ago, tensions are high in and around the world of professional wrestling. Questions about who could emerge as the newest star in the company - and even questions about certain roster member's legitimacy!!! As was reported by WLMZ a number of months ago, there are rumors around the OCWFed locker room that newcomer LARIETTE is a ruse to get back at hated GM Empress. Several around the company have gone so far as to report that the newest OCW Star LARIETTE (who recently announced her signing with OCWFED) is simply just former OCW star Terra Daturas (Tera Buteo) wearing a mask. While online pundits may have agreed with the assumption, it seems the questions are over. According to WLMZ and Maxwell Jameson, both LARIETTE (wearing her full mask) and Sue Plex attended the event in full. Accompanying Sue Plex - who is set for a major PRIDE Championship Match on the Turmoil 312 event - was her spouse Terra Daturas. As was reported - after some initial confusion from fans and onlookers, it apparently became accepted that this was not what most fans expected, another fun wrestling angle, and some were surprised to see the new Luchadora in the same location with Terra Daturas at the same time. Some speculate this is an attempt to make it clear LARIETTE is not the former OCWFED women's star, as to not halt her momentum as she prepares for her first appearance on The Clark Effect this Friday on Turmoil. The company has not been vocal about the new signee officially, but it would be hard to ignore the very vocal comments current OCW GM Empress over the last several weeks, though it's not certain how much of her frustration is due to getting destroyed at OCW's On Deadly Ground event in the first ever Women's Pride Championship Match back in March. WLMZ pundit Jackzon Marizo captured this image of LARIETTE and Terra Daturas sharing a moment after leaving the restaurant separately, an image that's been widely circulated since the party last night. Be sure to credit those involved. For now, all we can confirm is that OCW is in the highest of spirits, enjoying the last few days of their time away from the ring before OCW returns on April 19th, 2024 for Turmoil 312, a show that will see not 1, but 2 championship matches and the kickoff to what is sure to be the most insane season in OCWFED's storied 20 year history.
  2. SUE VS ASHLEY I will be rooting for Sue because I love her. Outside of that biased allegiance, I'm sure this won't end without some kind of overexaggerated self-aggrandizing dialogue about how one of the two did something wrong and our new Pride title will continue it's not-so-rich history of being more famous for controversy than sport. WREX VS H2O Wrex has been the silver medal for a long time as Mr. Turmoil but will once again be reminded that he's not what he thinks he is and can take his fat worthless ass back to Michigan after the GOAT buries him. FLOJO VS MARISA Will be an interesting match leaving us wondering which will take the next step, but will ultimately just be another "great match for the sake of great match" FloJo style that leads to nothing. I got FloJo in this one which will only be less relevant when Action Hero Marisa turns it into something amazing. JYNX VS SCOTTY VS DEVON FLASH No real point to guess this. Match will not happen, server issues or something of the like. Some kind of replacement match will fill in and will... exist. HARRIS & MARTIN VS DNS My instincts tell me this match also won't be happening, but for the sake of it, DNS wins and there will be controversy of some kind to ruin whatever fun the match could've had. TELOS VS CNOTE Viktor didn't die to watch Telos lose in his first defense. Or maybe he did. /shrug

  4. March 31st, 2024 - OCWFed.com Exclusive - Stacy Clark Reporting -- As the days before OCW's official return to television tick down, speculation continues to swirl around the international promotion. The status of existing high-profile stars like El Parca, RyVaughn, Colin Locke, Paul Boulet, and others remains a point of contention amongst fans ahead of the April 19th return to in-ring action for Turmoil 312 LIVE on Twitch.tv/OCWFED. However, murmurs around NEW talent making their way into OCWFed have been making their way through social media as well. The signings of independent superstars Eddie Ramos and Rachel Lochlan being made official earlier in 2024 have had fans buzzing online about the potential matchups and new developments we could see already. Given the last several rookie classes in OCW have given the world of pro wrestling some of the very best around, the hopes around the recent signings in OCW are already extremely high. The class is expected to grow exponentially as the season kicks off in mid-April and beyond, but even before we get there, OCW has secured another rookie signing. Though more of an unknown, OCWFED CEO and owner Jaysin Sensation has confirmed the signing of Luchadora star 'LARIETTE'. Little is known about the masked wrestler, aside from her clear penchant for 'heroism' and her upbeat attitude. it's at least known that LARIETTE has spent the last 6 months in the independent scene in Mexico. From what we were able to gather from her profile with Lucha Extrema Mexicana (LEM) and Realeza de la Lucha (RDLW), LARIETTE is an American born Luchadora who honed her craft on the west coast scene and in Mexico over the last several years. LARIETTE has made a name for herself with her mixture of high-flying classic Luchadora style, with a confident addition of precision strikes, submissions, and creative offense. As is tradition in Mexican promotions, we're unable to give much more information about the high-flying super athlete as far as her personal life is concerned, but that shouldn't be any issue for the amazing OCWFed fanbase to instantly connect to the new star. As of press time, Stacy Clark has been given permission from OCW GM Empress to learn more and has since reached out to LARIETTE to request an official interview as a member of the OCWFed roster, which we hope to have for you in the coming weeks here on OCWFed.com We don't know what comes next, but we do know that with the addition of the OCW Women's PRIDE Championship and the amazing contributions of the women's division over the last 4 years in OCW, the sky is the limit for the newest signing in OCW! --
  5. Everyone can do better. Accountability is important and everyone being able to put their 2c in is also. Largely our community does hear criticism, especially when it's not framed in the shittiest way possible, as has been the case several times since Saturday. Heck, even if someone is a prick about how they frame their critique, there's almost always actual nuggets to be taken away and if you're "in the wrong" or even if you THINK you're not and you're receiving criticism anyways, try looking for those takeaways instead of being defensive or shitty in return. Two wrongs and all that. That feedback/clash/accountability happened immediately afterwards, it happened *before* the show aired between those who were in the know and for some reason it's still happening on Tuesday despite the fact it was already addressed. It was a huge bummer and everyone's made that clear at this point. On the other side, it's super unnecessary to keep hammering a point home over and over and over and over and over with even more aggressive and pointlessly antagonistic tones after you said your piece, though. Those who wrote reviews or commented on it on the pod or whatever (ps thank you, loving the new site engagement and Jay's happiness makes me happi), that makes sense, you will obviously have to address it if you're reviewing something, but it doesn't mean you have to try and escalate the situation, especially if your mindset towards the other side is "own it and move on" when you're not willing to move on yourself. I'd understand if people were trying to sweep it under the rug or ignore it or whatever, but Jay has already said it's been acknowledged and handled, etc. If you are someone who isn't happy with how Jay is handling it and thinks there should be far more extreme measures taken, please go nuts, but please try and be a problem solver in that case and propose some solutions you think would be fair instead of adding fuel to the flames. For me, I think MOST of the unnecessary bullshit has come in Discord, which Belle doesn't even see (unless Ashley is sending it to her), which makes her replies in here even more confusing as to why she's gotta act like that at all, especially towards two people who probably were the least hypercritical of all. I get being upset that you feel someone is being hounded or ganged up on in an overboard way. I feel that a little bit too, but replying like that is super weak. It makes it seem like you believe there was nothing done wrong in the first place, which there absolutely was. Nobody's perfect, we all got our moments so hopefully everyone can just shake it out their system and *actually* move on. Sort of a sidebar, but this kind of thing always leads to it in one way or another. Whenever there's a conflict like this it always turns into smug bullshit where folks are dropping blanket statements about the entire fed or an entire section or whatever. Shit like "har nobody can take my excellent and constructive criticism because they don't wanna be spoken to like children" is always a favorite or "nah kids these days just wanna glaze" or "oh anytime there's stakes involved everyone will cheese it's just the natural order". It's goofy. It almost never has any basis in reality as a macro statement and reduces a complex, varied group if individuals into some shitty box. It's shit that guys like Dane or Dennis would say about us once they were ousted, shouldn't be something we're putting on each other as a way to somehow seem better than. As I said before Dan and others that do this DO have very real and productive points hidden inside to find, but trying to paint everyone a certain way or act like stuff is rampant because one thing happened recently never really sits well with me. Some folks just love to fight online and stir it up to kill time, though nobody needs to be childishly shooting on people on either end or making dumb blanket statements because they're upset at one individual. Everyone's got a dumb opinion but this one belongs to me. We can all do better. Thanks again to everyone for their comments on the shows and HUGE shout out to Kent and Dan for the amazing work they did on the RIOT/TURMOIL/AMBITION arenas in 2K24. We're fast approaching a new season and the efforts being made are hyping me up. ✌️
  6. I'll take "He fucking deserved it" for $400, Alex.
  7. The Werdz is here, but with another new twist. Let's enjoy and talk some OCW. It's a long'n, so pop it on for a shitty day at work or long commute. Whatever suits you.
  8. Have to agree with Jimbo. I'd argue it was the best show of the year TV wise. Just a complete package that didn't overstay. Everything lined up. I've been very impressed with the storytelling leading into AH2 & Anny being right around the corner. If this is just a result of folks not being sure how to build multiple angles at once, you could have fooled me because it has been great. Short notes from me - the matches kicked huge ass here. Sue vs AJM, Telos vs Blacksmith and the MEATTACULAR Derek vs RyVaughn. Very few FPR issues on this show. DNS' presence is settling into a nice middleground and I did enjoy the tag match, it was just sandwiched between so many hits. Anyone that was in the VP knows how on edge I was the entire OWEN/Sheldon segment. That motherfucker LIAM continues to lure me into a false sense of "oh okay it's over now" before knocking a homerun out the park with this stories. From his return to fight Aries to this, it just makes too much sense. RP Wise, I was worried this one would lack but man was I wrong. Agreed with Jim that the Grit n Glory dynamic has long been one of my favorites and I'm glad they're getting their big moment. That combined with Boulet and C-Note, Empress returning in a hilarious segment, Kingu's bullshit (loved the manga presentation), Cody getting involved more deeply, and Aries championship being taken in RP formats, these aren't small things and it warms my cold black heart to see this medium being used just as importantly as the video format. I wanted to do a full show review and have been feeling bad I didn't get around to it (didn't even get to read the show til Monday), but we're all doing our best. Jim's a treasure we don't deserve. Keep up the good work, bitches. Big things continuing to pop.
  9. November 30th, 2023 | OCWFed.com As announced earlier today on her Instagram account, the World Women's Wrestling champion, who has proclaimed herself as THE World Champion in OCW, will be hosting a live, in-ring edition of her newest recurring segment, "America's Next Top Challenger" this week on Turmoil 307. After a series of tense encounters with Marisa Welch-Mac in the Fall, Deborah began her search for the next number 1 contender a few weeks ago, sitting ringside for various women's matches throughout the evening. Afterwards, she would "critique" her opponents in a backstage segment, often being overly critical of her opponents non-wrestling characteristics. It seems the show will be moving to the inside of the ring, as Deborah confirmed earlier this afternoon. "It's official babes! The greatest segment in the history of this women's division is evolving! I will see you all LIVE in-ring this Friday for a breakdown of Susie Q and that weird karate girl! " Surely, the locker room has not been very thrilled about Deborah's comments over the last number of weeks, though no challenger has yet to be confirmed for OCWFed's upcoming Charity Spectacular event, Animol House 2 - or the Anniversary 19 show in January. Time will tell who will emerge victorious between the emerging Amy Jade Miller and Sue Plex, who is looking to fight back into the championship picture after coming up short this past Summer. Tune in live, this Friday night at 7PM ET for this and much more on Turmoil 307 as we head towards Animol House 2 on December 16th! It all happens on twitch.tv/ocwfed.
  10. Last week, on what turned out to be a very entertaining Halloween-themed episode of OCW Turmoil, the show ended with one of OCW's brightest stars sadly announcing his retirement from professional wrestling. Though Rust Cohle did not use that specific word, he gave an emotional speech at the end of the night, thanking all of his friends and enemies alike. The Halloween Edition of Turmoil concluded with Rust's victory lap being interrupted by a man he named in his list of greatest rivals, Harvey Hamilton Ocean, who caught the French Phenom with a Riptide Superkick to the dismay of the Brooklyn crowd. H2O has not commented on the situation, but there are plenty of reasons why he would still be harboring resentment. It was Summercide 2020 that saw Harvey's then-longest OCW Championship reign come to an end at the hands of Rust Cohle. Cohle was also responsible for ending H2O's latest championship reign at the 18th Anniversary show earlier this year. Many online believe this "speech" was a setup for something to come down the road, but at least at this point, it is not clear if H2O's attack was a "sendoff" for the Frenchblade, or whether he knew it was coming at all. Cohle has not commented on the situation as of publish date. Over the last 6 years, Rust Cohle has long been a thorn in H2O's side, so his motivation to ruin his touching retirement is not without reason. However, H2O made waves breaking away from Kasstianity earlier this year and forming "The Perfect Storm" with his brother - and Rust Cohle's former tag team partner - Ijitu Quartz. Quartz and Harvey Ocean have been near inseparable since Wrestlution 17 and have made their intentions to become tag team champions very public, a fact that caused many OCW fans in attendance to notice Quartz was nowhere to be found at Turmoil following the loss to the Believers at OCW Hard Target. While talent does occasionally take time off after major shows, seeing H2O end the show the way he did without his brother has raised additional questions, questions we may have received more answers to after the cameras turned off. In a clip that has since widely circulated social media, a small group of fans awaiting their favorite OCW wrestlers noticed a loud spat from the usual exit area of Barclay's Arena. In the recording of the incident, the shouting eventually spills out of the exit as H2O and Ijitu Quartz were seen verbally sparring one another regarding H2O's involvement in the Rust Cohle Segment. More than one source close to WhereCulture inside OCW have said they believe that the Perfect Storm had other plans on this edition of Turmoil, but that Harvey "called an audible", at the last minute, opting to instead cut the planned Perfect Storm promo segment. Quartz was clearly unhappy with this situation and decided to stay in the back. Whether the former member of CQC refused to attack Rust Cohle because of the two's past relationship or because he was simply frustrated at his brother going into business for himself, Quartz' frustration with his brother is very clear in the viral clip. The clip does stop before the incident concluded, but witnesses say Quartz continued to shout "This shit is bigger than you, you don't make the rules." before storming away, presumably to leave the arena without his brother, who re-entered the arena shortly after the disagreement, still in his wrestling gear. ---------------------------------------------------------- Both men are advertised together on the upcoming RIOT show on November 3rd on Twitch.tv/OCWFed, which will also include a North American Championship rematch between Viktor Karmine and Paul Boulet, as well as a blockbuster main event between B17 and Aries. It remains to be seen whether we will get any answers from H2O or Ijitu Quartz regarding the incident, or if it will simply be swept under the rug.
