Biography:

Empress Kuma's real name Kumiko Tanaka grew up in a very small village in Kyoto, Japan. Her parents loved her dearly and wanted only the best for her. They called her their little princess. Kumiko was never huge into wrestling growing up. After high school, she went straight to medical school to become a doctor in an attempt to start up a clinic in her village.

During her time in college, a few colleagues took her to a wrestling match and she was so fascinated by the moves and how they worked the human body she started to attend more and more matches.

After graduating college she informed her family of all the things she learned from schooling as well as watching and talking to wrestlers behind the scenes as an underpaid physicist. Her father being a wrestling fan encouraged her to take up wrestling for a while before settling down as a doctor.

With her family's blessing, she was on her way. In September 2017 Kumiko was booked for her return first match. Her Father's words to her before she entered the arena " You'll be no one's princess anymore you'll be their Empress."
