Apologies for the DRAMATIC title. But in hindsight it is kind of true. Since 1998 offline and 2003 or 2004 (I honestly forget) OCW has been the vision of a weird mamao who envisioned Wrestling Everquest with people all over the world. In retrospect it's more like a Wrestling M.U.D (Small userbase) but you get the idea.
Through peaks and valleys we have persevered, I have enough mutiny's fuckeries, and betrayals to last a lifetime. That being said as I reflect on the bad but overwhelmingly good times one has to kind of reflect. I have pretty much accomplished more or less what I wanted to do. I wanted fair and fun online wrasslin, I got that. I wanted people from all over the country and the world to become friends, I got that. Hell I even wanted to get know people who aren't awful and I got that as well.
So the TLDR is I've been going through some things and im not in the mood for sharing so im closing the doors. But rather than do some emotional burn it down tirade I am going to keep it a buck and let you know we will finish off with 2K22 and Rumblegrounds 4 on Sunday 3PM on twitch.tv/ocwfed and as a thank you to the entire community we will be holding a Special Super Ultra Mega Event, END GAME on May 27th & May 28th using WWE 2K23.
And at the end of the stream we will hold 2 raffles the 1 winner will recieve an Xbox Series S and another a Play station 5 (the one with no disk drive Spiderman not included) as a final thank you.
So in closing I want to thank, PIFF, Nicole and Theo and the entire OCWFED Community.
As a sidebar the Discord will remain for a few months and I plan to keep these janky forums up as (no new users) as a obelisk to everything you guys, gals and non binary pals have achieved.
Thank you for allowing us to entertain you.
